Who are we
Il Cammino Alta Via delle Grazie nasce da un’idea di Gabriella Castelli e Giovanni Battista Merelli.
Ispirati da Santiago de Compostela hanno deciso che anche nei dintorni di casa si poteva intraprendere la busqueda, la ricerca interiore.
E hanno creato un percorso nelle cui tappe ci sono ben 18 Santuari Mariani.
Ognuno con una storia meravigliosa e un messaggio spirituale da scoprire.
Alta via Delle Grazie is born out of an idea of Gabriella Castelli and Giovanni Battista Merelli. Inspired by the Santiago de Compostela pilgrimage, they believed that also in the vicinity of home one could undertake the “busqueda”, a journey of self-discovery. They created a way, whose stages are punctuated by 18 sanctuaries, each one characterized by a wonderful history and spiritual message to discover.
Il progetto Alta Via delle Grazie, realizzato con il concorso generoso di diversi volontari, assolutamente libero da ogni finalità di profitto, persegue lo scopo di scoprire e valorizzare un territorio della Lombardia particolarmente ricco di molteplici e straordinarie attrattive, il tutto racchiuso in un giro ad anello, che tocca la città di Bergamo, la Valle Seriana e l’Alto Sebino con il Lago d’Iseo.
Viene proposto a chiunque voglia farsi “pellegrino” alla ricerca di bellezza, in un modo semplice e condivisibile, per una nuova e gratificante esperienza di vita.
Attendere il primo raggio di sole del mattino, respirare il profumo dell'aria pulita, in solitudine o in compagnia, raccontarsi in libertà al compagno di viaggio inaspettato, lasciarsi trasportare dal vento, rigenerarsi all’acqua di un torrente, ammirare la bellezza dell’arte, dai semplici manufatti alle più preziose opere, fino a farsi sorprendere dal calore di una porta aperta all'accoglienza, potendo infine esprimere e condividere tutti questi sentimenti;
poichè le relazioni sono il ❤️ del progetto.
The Alta Via Delle Grazie project was realized with the help of several volunteers and is absolutely free from any profit interests. It aims at discovering and enriching the territory of Lombardy, which is particularly rich of multiple and extraordinary attractions. The way is characterized by a circular shape, which connects the city of Bergamo, Seriana Valley, Alto Sebino and the Iseo Lake.
This journey is proposed to anyone who would like to become a “pilgrim”, seeking beauty in a way that simple and shareable, for a new and gratifying experience of life.
Waiting for the first ray of sunshine in the morning, breathing in the perfume of fresh air, in solitude or company, telling about oneself freely to unexpected travel companions, letting oneself be transported by the wind, regenerate oneself in the water of a mountain stream, admiring the beauty of art, from simple manufacts to precious works, and letting oneself be surprised by the warmth of a door open to welcoming others, finally being able to express and share all these feelings;
because interpersonal relations are at the ❤️ of the project.
E in tutto questo sono diversi i fattori che entrano in gioco nella scoperta dei luoghi e delle loro particolarità: dall’ambiente con i suoi multiformi paesaggi, ai luoghi di culto, Chiese e Santuari, che oltre al valore religioso mostrano il grande patrimonio artistico del territorio e poi ancora, borghi antichi e artistici, tradizioni e tipicità gastronomiche…
Un percorso che si snoda attraverso eccellenze di ogni tipo e che assume la bellezza, “la Grazia”, come filo conduttore di tutta questa avventura.
There are several factors that come into play in the discovery of these locations and their particularity: from the environment with its multifaceted landscapes, to worship places, Churches and Sanctuaries, that beyond their religious value demonstrate the great artistic wealth of the territory, to ancient mountain villages, traditions and food specialties…
It is a trail that winds along excellence of any kind and that employs beauty, “la Grazia” as a guiding thread for adventure.
