L’Alta Via delle Grazie è provvista di propria Credenziale
The “Alta Via delle Grazie” Way possesses its own credential document.
La Credenziale è il documento fondamentale del Pellegrino. Rappresenta il “Passaporto del Pellegrino”, attestandone identità e motivazioni. Il Pellegrino deve averla con sé per essere identificato come tale e avere accesso alle strutture di accoglienza preposte lungo l’itinerario. Riceverà un timbro presso uffici turistici, strutture ricettive e di ristoro, parrocchie, fino al completamento del cammino. Molte strutture accolgono i pellegrini con Credenziale richiedendo una semplice offerta, utile a sostenere le spese di gestione; in altri casi, quando si tratta di strutture ricettive che offrono maggiori servizi, vengono generalmente applicate riduzioni.
The Credential is a fundamental document for the Pilgrim. It represents the “Passport of the Pilgrim”, certifying identities and motives. The Pilgrim must hold onto it to be identified as such and to have access to the hospitality structures designated along the way.
The Pilgrim will receive a stamp at tourist offices, hospitality structures, churches, till the journey is concluded. Many structures welcome pilgrims who hold the Credential simply requesting a small donation, needed to sustain maintenance costs; in other cases, when it comes to structures offering more services, discounts and cost reductions are generally applied.
